I chose this university as it is ranked very high for their economics program. I also chose it as I have always wished to live in Sydney and it is close to my parents who stay in Melbourne.
Course Curriculum :
I feel the course syllabus is slightly backdated as it fails to acknowledge some of the aspects of economics which I had learned during my 12th grade
Exams :
I submitted 1 SOP, my 10th and 12th scores, IELTS, and SAT scores. In my statement of purpose, I spoke about the qualities that make me a valuable student at the University of Sydney and what I wish to achieve there.
Placement :
Many students who graduate have gotten opportunities to work in companies such as Goldman Sachs. We do have an alumni network and it is very good for job referrals and internship opportunities.
Events :
It was a very social campus which encouraged us to join clubs and take initiatives. I was part of the film and dog society where we met every week and socialized. The libraries are very quiet and a perfect place to study, and the WIFI is accessible all around campus.

It is 1:7. They are extremely friendly and approachable as they have separate office hours where students are free to approach them and clarify doubts.
Hostel :
No. I stay in accommodation just 10 mins away from campus. It is student accommodation and is near shopping malls, train stations, and various other universities. It costs 450 AUD per week and includes a gym and swimming pool and a communal kitchen.
