My program when I entered was in the top 5 in the world and was the best choice for me when I considered tuition fees, employment statistics (post-graduation), the program structure, and support available for the students. It is been interesting. There definitely been times where i did not enjoy myself, but overall a positive experience.
Course Curriculum :
It's pretty good. to be honest it's very euro-centric, which was a bit jarring for me since I come from southeast Asia. But the course educates me on all aspects of architecture and gives opportunities for employment and industrial exposure.
Exams :
I had to submit portfolios for every single university I applied to, write a personal statement, and get a reference from 2 teachers. In my personal statement, I emphasized my work experience and how it inspired me to choose this career path. I had to submit portfolios.
Placement :
It is okay. in my course, it's expected you will find a job by yourself using the avenues provided by the university.
Events :
It is good. Theres always events going on, and loads of places to socialise and meet people.
Fees :
GBP 22000
Scholarship :
No
Faculty :
It is decent I think. It's about 9 students to a tutor. They are all very nice, but it can feel alienating if you arent from the UK.
Hostel :
No, private accommodation, i pay about GBP 150 a week.
