University of Bristol Review

I am a biotech student and wanted to streamline my field towards neuroscience. This course seemed to be the correct fit for my future endeavors.

Course Curriculum :

Very well rounded, focuses on learning of very cutting edge sciences

Exams :

IELTS scores (minimum requirement) is 6.0 in each category with overall score 6.5

Placement :

Most students opt for Phds but others go onto work in pharma orgs or scientific publication companies

Internship :

None in UK

Fees :

For me, it was 21800 GBP

Scholarship :

None, self funded

Faculty :

There are about 20 students in the program and the faculty is very helpful. You are allotted with personal tutors who happen to be professors as well so if you need academic or help related to counselling etc then they are there to help you out.

Campus Life :

The UOB campus is spread all across the city. Our classes are taught in the "Dorothy Hodgkin's building" which is part of Bristol Medical School, Faculty of Health (Translational health sciences)

Hostel :

Chantry Court is a Unite Students property situated right in the city centre. The harbour is right opposite to us so you get an amazing view. Apart from that the infrastructure is decent and clean, staff is helpful as well
