Gyandhan Scholarship

Started with an aim to make abroad higher education more accessible to students, GyanDhan has helped tens of thousands of students in selecting the right financing option. In continuation of the efforts towards the aim, they have launched the GyanDhan Scholarship. Following are the details of the scholarship:

GyanDhan Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded to Indian students who demonstrate excellent academic record and exceptional potential.
The scholarship is awarded to students planning to pursue 2-year postgraduate course in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand & Germany.
Annually, only one scholarship is awarded with the GyanDhan Scholarship of INR 1 Lakh.
Shortlisting and selection is based on academic performance.
It is a one-time scholarship awarded to a student at the beginning of the academic year irrespective of his/her chosen course, or the country.
Loan applications disbursed for an education loan from GyanDhan will be considered for the scholarship, provided the student has filled and submitted the scholarship application before the deadline.

Criterio de elegibilidad

To be considered for the GyanDhan Scholarship, the applicants must meet the below mentioned requirements:

Students who want to pursue a 2-year postgraduate course in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand & Germany. Students who are in the process of applying or have applied but have not yet received an admission letter can also apply for the scholarship.
The student must be an Indian resident with an undergrad degree from an Indian institute.
If the student is planning to take an education loan, the application for the same must start via Gyandhan in one of the partner lenders. Our partner lenders are SBI, BOB, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Avanse, Auxilo, Incred, Credila & Prodigy Finance.

NOTE : Students going for undergraduate studies, conferences, and seminars are not eligible for the scholarship.

All the eligible candidates are required to fill up the online GyanDhan Scholarship form. Applicants must submit all the required documents as specified.

Step 2: Fill out the required details:

Step 3- Upon filling out the form which is the first step for applying for the scholarship, wait for the next 24 hours to get the email where you can upload the documents

Required Documents

The applicants are required to submit the following documents to be eligible for the scholarship:

Offer letter from the university
Proof of GRE/ GMAT score
Proof of English language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS)
Latest resume
Statement of purpose (in 1500 max)
letter of recommendation (Optional)

NOTE: Students will be able to upload their documents provided their loan application is in the process via GyanDhan.

Proceso de selección

As the scholarship is purely merit based, only academic performance is considered while accessing the applications for scholarships. The selection will be based on the following criteria:

Academic performance
Test scores (GRE/ GMAT/ TOEFL)
Statement of purpose
Letter of recommendation
Strength of profile submitted

The selection committee will selected the deserving candidates based on the above mentioned criteria.

Detalles de la subvención

GyanDhan scholarship is beneficial to those students who are planning to take a study loan but as the banks don't sanction the loan amount at a time, the scholarship will be a boon.
The scholarship application must be submitted on or before August 31 2023.
Students must display excellence in academics and extracurriculars in order to be selected for this scholarship.
