UOW Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship

The University of Wollongong, Australia offers a Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship to international students commencing their first coursework UOW masters’ degree at some selected program in the school. Eligible candidates for this scholarship must possess an excellent academic record, in addition to, meeting all the admission requirements into the program of choice

The scholarship does not require any form of application as all students will automatically be considered for this scholarship
There are an unlimited number of UOW Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarships available.
All international students must have a valid Australian student visa to study in Australia.
Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarships cover 30% of the tuition fee for minimum course duration.
Recipients will be chosen on the basis of their academic record and their status as an overseas student.

The scholarship is awarded to students enrolled at the Australian campus, and not at any of UOW’s overseas campuses.

Criterio de elegibilidad

To be eligible for UOW Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarships. Candidates doing all other full-time Masters courses are eligible, provided that:

International student, paying overseas tuition fees.
Possess undergraduate degree with an excellent academic record
- have a 50+ Weighted Average Mark (WAM).
- Minimum 75+ WAM or equivalent throughout the university.
Not a recipient of any other government or institutional scholarship.
Not applying at University of Wollongong for one of the following programs:
- Master of Psychology (Clinical)
- Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology
- Master of Nutrition and Dietetics
- Master of Teaching
- Master of Social Work (Qualifying)
- Doctor of Medicine
Must not have received any credit for prior learning.

Students are mainly assessed on the basis of their academic merit and potential to contribute to the field of study.

University evaluates all the applications and selects students who meet the criteria.
Students are notified of the award along with their admission offer, and must sign the terms and conditions letter to accept the award.
If there are any changes in the faculty of enrollment or pattern of study, students must notify the UOW Fees and Scholarships team within 14 days.

There is no specified number of scholarships to be awarded.
