BL Mandhana Scholarships

The BL Mandhana Scholarship is awarded to critical thinking Indian students who demonstrate a passion for education and possess the desire to create positive changes in the world. Awarded by The Next Genius Foundation, this scholarship is available for high school seniors in India. Scholarship funds may be used to pursue an UG education in North America or Europe.

This scholarship was initiated in memory of late Shri Bhawarlalji Mandhana, retired Judge, Rajasthan High Court and retired Law Secretary of Rajasthan. An amount of USD 2,500 per annum for four years of undergraduate education (total of USD 10,000) in the form of tuition fee payments is provided to the selected candidates.

Indian students planning to apply for BL Mandana Scholarships must fulfill the eligibility requirements mentioned below:

  • Should be a PIO card holder
  • High school senior or recent graduate
  • Demonstrate extraordinary academic rigor, strong leadership skills, and a vision for their education.

Proceso de solicitud

  • Students must apply for the scholarship online via the Next Genius website.
  • Students must complete the online registration and application form prior to the application deadline.
    • Registration requires information such as personal, academic, and contact information.
    • There is no application fee required.
  • The application process will undergo a careful two-stage review process:
    • Online assessment - Students will have to take an online critical thinking assessment, to measure their ability to read effectively, reason, analyze data, and solve puzzles.
    • Personal interview conducted in Mumbai.

Proceso de selección

  • Selection of the student is based on the following criteria:
    • Academic Merit
    • Strong ability to think critically
    • A passion for learning
    • A desire to bring a positive change in the world
  • Students who are shortlisted will be notified via email.
  • Students will be asked to submit the order of preference for colleges and the kind of scholarship they would like to be considered for.
  • The applicants will then have to appear for personal interviews in Mumbai.
    • The interviews will be conducted by the Next Genius team and the admission officers from the colleges.
  • Scholarship winners will be felicitated at an award ceremony soon after the interview.

The Next Genius Foundation, founded in 2014, is a registered charitable trust in India that offers full and partial tuition scholarships to outstanding Indian high school students. The BL Mandhana Scholarship funds may be used to pursue an undergraduate education in North America or Europe.
