Criterio de elegibilidad

Prospective students who wish to apply for the Saryu Doshi Graduate Fellowships are required to meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Citizen and resident of India at the time of scholarship application.
  • A first class undergraduate degree or equivalent from a recognised Indian university
  • Must have an acceptance letter from a reputed university abroad.
  • Secure admission in a liberal arts course like humanities, social sciences, the natural sciences and mathematics

Note: The applicant is currently studying in the final year of the degree or equivalent might also apply, they must be able to submit the final year certificates beforehand


Proceso de solicitud

Before commencing your application, eligible students must ensure that they have all the required documents. The details of these documents is given below:

  • Two Letters of Recommendation from supervisor/professor evaluating your academic performance, achievements and communication skills.
    • LORs should be sent in a sealed envelope.
  • Submit an essay of the elements or topics from the chosen liberal arts course.
  • Proof of sources of funds or financial statement required for applicants education abroad
    • Income tax summary form needs to be attested by a chartered accountant
  • Mention the details of any internship or jobs undertaken.
  • Transcripts, certificates for class X, class XII, and graduation. Submitting these are mandatory for a 10 +2 + 3-year education format.
