Prodigy Finance-GyanDhan Scholarship

GyanDhan Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded to Indian students who demonstrate excellent academic record and exceptional potential. The scholarship is awarded to students planning to pursue postgraduate studies in Canada, UK and USA

Annually, only two scholarships are awarded with the Prodigy Finance-GyanDhan Scholarship. Shortlisting and selection is based on academic performance.
One scholarship will be awarded for an MS program and the second scholarship for an MBA program.
Selected student receive a fixed amount of $2500 at the beginning of the academic year
It is a one-time scholarship awarded to a student irrespective of his/her chosen course, or the country
Loan applications disbursed for an education loan from Prodigy Finance through GyanDhan will be considered for the scholarship, provided the student has filled and submitted the scholarship application before the deadline.
If the student has applied for the scholarship but did not go through with the education loan from Prodigy Finance will not be considered for the scholarship.

GyanDhan is India’s highest rated study abroad financing marketplace. The scholarship primarily aims at making study abroad options accessible to a larger number of students.

Criterio de elegibilidad

To be considered for the Prodigy Finance-GyanDhan Scholarship, the applicants must meet the below mentioned requirements:

Citizenship- must be an Indian resident who has graduated from an Indian institution
Academic Qualification: must have an excellent academic record and strength of profile must be submitted.
Level of study: Commencing 2-year PG studies in one of the following countries
- USA
- Canada
- UK
You must have accepted an offer from a university by the time we select a winner in September.

Note: Students who are yet to receive their admission letter can also apply for GyanDhan Scholarship.

All the eligible candidates are required to fill up the online Prodigy Finance-GyanDhan Scholarship form. Applicants must submit all the required documents as specified.

Step 3- Upon filling out the form which is the first step for applying for the scholarship, wait for the next 24 hours to get the email where you can upload the documents

Required Documents

The applicants are required to submit the following documents to be eligible for the scholarship:

Offer letter from the university
Proof of GRE/ GMAT score
Proof of English language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS)
Latest resume
Statement of purpose (in 1500 max)
letter of recommendation (Optional)

NOTE: Students can upload the Statement of Purpose submitted to their target university.

Proceso de selección

As the scholarship is purely merit based, only academic performance is considered while accessing the applications for scholarships. The selection will be based on the following criteria:

Academic performance
Test scores (GRE/ GMAT/ TOEFL)
Statement of purpose
Letter of recommendation
Strength of profile submitted

The selection committee will selected the deserving candidates based on the above mentioned criteria.

Detalles de la subvención

GyanDhan scholarship is beneficial to those students who are planning to take a study loan but as the banks don't sanction the loan amount at a time, the scholarship will be a boon.
It is not applicable for students pursuing undergraduate courses, or going for conferences, and seminars.
The scholarship application must be submitted on or before August 31 2023.
Students who have applied for the loan through GyanDhan and are approved for a loan from Prodigy Finance will be considered for the scholarship.
Students must display excellence in academics and extracurriculars in order to be selected for this scholarship.
