Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarship

Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarship is offered to outstanding students coming from Africa, India, and selected Commonwealth countries. Developing Solutions is the flagship masters’ scholarship program at the University of Nottingham especially designed for international students.

It applies to students who wish to pursue full-time masters at the University of Nottingham. (excluding MRes)
A total of 105 awards are offered under Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarship.
External applications must be sent after receiving an offer letter from the university.
The application deadline for the Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarship is May 17, 2023.

The Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarship will cover 50% or 100% of full-time masters’ tuition fees of the program taken at the University of Nottingham.

Criterio de elegibilidad

This award will be available to the future students doing the eligible course at the university. To apply for this scholarship, the applicant must:

National of or permanently residing in Africa, India or a resident of the Commonwealth countries.
Considered as an international student for fee purposes
Hold an offer letter to commence studies in full-time master (excluding MRes) courses from the university.

Students must be registered under either of the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Science.

Proceso de solicitud

Applicants once met admission requirements at the University of Nottingham and received an offer that can apply for the scholarship.

Candidates must apply through the scholarship section of the application system, MyNottingham.
The statement submitted along with the application must reflect the personal views of the candidate.
The candidates will be asked about their achievements, study plans, and reasons for studying at the university.

The candidates must prepare strong answers to get shortlisted for the scholarship. Completed applications must be submitted before May 17, 2023.

Proceso de selección

The selection process will take place once applications are submitted. The assessments will be made based on the student’s responses through the personal statement and his/her academic skills.

Terms and Conditions for Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarship :

The scholarship is given to students who have accepted the offer to study at the university.
The students must not respond to their offer before applying for this scholarship.
If shortlisted candidates do not accept an offer, the scholarship will be given to the next student.
It cannot be clubbed with another regional scholarship or International Sporting Excellence Award.
- However, the students may get a subject scholarship from their academic school, a sports scholarship package, or any other scholarship from their country,
- the combined total must not exceed 100% of tuition fees.

It can include an award from Nottingham University Business School.

Students from India, Africa and selected countries who wish to study abroad at the University of Nottingham may apply for this scholarship. Successful applicants will receive partial or full-tuition fees scholarship.

Applicants must have enrolled themselves in the master’s program at the University of Nottingham.
