Monash Engineering International Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship

Monash Engineering International Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship is awarded by the Monash University. It is a merit-based scholarship aimed to recognize the outstanding performance of students academically.

Students who are willing to apply for a UG engineering course at Monash University are eligible.
The eligibility of each international applicant is assessed through his/ her course application.
Monash University offers 100 awards under the Monash Engineering International Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship.
The total scholarship value covering the entire course duration of 4 years is 40,000 AUD.

Recipients of Monash Engineering International Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship must maintain a minimum of Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 throughout the study.

Criterio de elegibilidad

International students who wishes to pursue an engineering degree at Monash University is eligible. Apart from this, applicants must meet the eligibility criteria given below:

Applicants must be currently in Year 12 (or equivalent) or
- must have completed Year 12 or equivalent in the previous year.
Must have not undertaken any other tertiary study.
Must commence UG study in an engineering degree.
Must have achieved a minimum ATAR* score of 95.00.
Must have received a full or conditional offer to study at the Monash campus in Australia.

*ATAR means Australian Tertiary Admission Rank which is used as a parameter to indicate the student’s position on a scale of 0.00 to 99.95. It is an aggregate calculated from six subject scores.

No separate application is required to avail Monash Engineering International Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship. The scholarship is granted on the basis of academic excellence.

Candidates must meet admission requirements at Monash University and offered a place to study at university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Proceso de selección

The selection of recipients for the scholarship is entirely based on admission scores and academic performance demonstrated in admission application.

This scholarship is renewable for the entire period of the program i.e. 4 years but in order to retain it, the students must meet the set criteria.

The criteria for retaining the scholarship for the following year is maintaining a minimum 70 weighted average mark (WAM) in the bachelor’s degree that they are pursuing at the University.

International students who want to pursue an engineering degree at one of the top universities of Australia, Monash University with some financial aid are eligible for this scholarship.

The Monash Engineering International Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship is awarded to 100 recipients annually.

The recipients can avail benefits of the scholarship up to 4 years if they meet the criteria for retaining it.
It is a non-deferrable scholarship and shall be utilized as and when granted.
A student who is already holding any other scholarship or grant is not eligible to get this scholarship
