Shardashish Interschool fellowship

Shardashish Interschool fellowship is available to the Indian students enrolled in selected programs at Columbia University. This fellowship is supported by Uttambhai Nathalal Mehta Foundation whose objective is to expand educational opportunities at all levels.

Shardashish Interschool fellowship applies to PG programs at Columbia University.
Applicant must demonstrate their commitment to India and work for its future.
External application forms have to be submitted by February 17, 2023.
Under this fellowship, students are provided a maximum amount of 50, 000 USD.

The funding is given for one year and varies in amount depending on the program of study, level of financial need and academic qualifications.

Criterio de elegibilidad

Indian students who wish to study abroad at Columbia University are eligible to apply. In addition to that, applicants must fulfill the eligibility requirements listed below:

Students must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field from a recognized institution.
Applicant must demonstrate their commitment to India and its future.
This fellowship applies to the Post-graduate Programs at Columbia University. The programs specified for obtaining this fellowship are :
- MA in Biotechnology
- MA in Mathematics or Finance
- MA in Economics
- MA in Statistics
- MA in Ecology, evolution and conservation biology.
- Other Programs include Engineering in any discipline and MPA in Environmental Science and Policy.
Should be able to demonstrate their financial needs.

External application forms for the Shardashish Interschool fellowship have to be submitted.

Students must download and complete the Shardashish Interschool Application form, as well as the Shardashish Interschool Fellowship Need Assessment Form from the official website.

Both of the forms should be sent to the admissions contact in the school the students wish to apply.
The appropriate admissions contact is present on the application form itself.
The deadline for the online submission of the application form is by February 17, 2023
Submit three LOR(S) along with their resume.
They also require to send their transcript copies of every post-secondary institution they have attended along with their Official GRE (General Test Scores).

Shardashish Interschool Fellowship is provided to the Indian students pursuing selected Post-graduate programs at Columbia University.

The beneficiaries of this scholarship must demonstrate excellence in their academic programs, and also their commitment to India and its future.
The maximum amount of fellowship is 50,000 USD for one year.

Indian students who wish to study in the U.S.A at Columbia University with some financial aid must apply before February 17, 2023, to be eligible for the scholarship.
