University of Glasgow MBA Scholarships

Students with academically brilliant records and extensive work experience who are planning to pursue an MBA can apply for the University of Glasgow MBA Scholarships. It is a merit-based award offered at University of Glasgow (GLA).

Students must hold an unconditional offer to study at the University of Glasgow.
The amount of 13,000 GBP is offered to cover the cost of the tuition fees of the MBA program at GLA or Full tuition fee scholarship
Applicants must upload a complete application form by accessing Applicant Self-Service.

Responses in the application form along with professional achievements and financial circumstances will be taken into consideration while selecting recipients of the University of Glasgow MBA Scholarships.

Candidates eligibility will be assessed via both the scholarship application and the MBA interview. There is no deadline to apply for the Glasgow MBA scholarship, but as funds are limited, we advise you to apply as early as possible.

Criterio de elegibilidad

The eligibility requirements for the University of Glasgow are quite simple and straight-forward:

Secure admission at University of Glasgow’s MBA program.
Above 70% in undergraduate program
Minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or TOEFL-iBT score of 90
You must have successfully passed your interview and received an unconditional offer or conditional only upon IELTS for the MBA (Master of Business Administration) programme for September 2023 intake.
Professional experience, if any is a bonus

Though the scholarships are awarded based on the academic and leadership skills of the applicants, financial circumstances are also taken intro consideration.

Students must upload a completed MBA Scholarship Application Form by accessing Applicant Self-Service to be considered for the University of Glasgow MBA Scholarships. As a part of the application process, candidates need to provide details related to

monthly income in GBP
plans to fund MBA degree
scholarships or funding (if any) for the MBA program

However, applicants need to anwer two essay-based questions mentioned below:

The year after obtaining my MBA degree, I will be an ambassador to the program in the following way(s). (up to 400 words)
How will this scholarship benefit you in your studies? (Upto 700 words)

Proceso de selección

After the applications have been submitted, next comes the selection process. The selection committee will evaluate the scholarship application form case-by-case. They will judge candidates based on the responses of the questions asked in the form.

Apart from that, the following factors may also be taken into account while deciding the winners of the scholarship.

Recipients will be informed about the result and will be granted scholarships.

Note: Your scholarship application will NOT be considered unless you have successfully passed your interview and hold an unconditional offer (or conditional only upon IELTS) for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programme. Offer holders who are being considered for the scholarship will normally be notified within 5 days from MBA interview.
