UTS Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship

UTS Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship is provided to the high achieving international students who enroll in a PG program at the University of Technology in Sydney (UTS).

The award is reduction in 25% or 35% of UTS tuition fees is provided to the recipient for Standard duration of the course
Available to the international students who have secured admission at UTS.
The scholarship is based on the academic merit of the students
No external application is required to be considered for the scholarship.
They are automatically considered by the UTS international if they are eligible.

Also, only full-time students can apply for the UTS Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship award.

Selected students are required to accept the scholarship offer at the university, before the intended deadline.

Criterio de elegibilidad

To be eligible for the UTS Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship, an applicant must meet all of the given eligibility criteria:

Citizenship: Must be an international student and must remain in the same status census date for the session/ semester in which they receive the Award
Must meet all admission criteria for the selected PG coursework program offered by UTS
Must be commencing as a full-time degree on campus.

Applicants will NOT be considered eligible if

Citizenship: Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or a permanent resident of Australia
Enrolled in a transnational program
A previous awardee of a full tuition fee scholarship for PG studies at UTS
Sponsored by any government.

Proceso de solicitud

For the UTS Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship, students do not need to apply through any separate scholarship application or documentation.

Only the documents which are required for the coursework application are considered for the shortlisted of prospected awardees.

The University of Technology Sydney

Students will automatically be considered who will commence a PG coursework at the University of Technology Sydney if they meet the eligibility requirements for the scholarship.

The Ongoing Recipient eligibility criteria for the scholarship is as follows:

The applicant must continue to be enrolled as a full-time student past the census date in the session for the Granted Scholarship.
All deferral or suspension requests depend on the approval from UTS International.
If the Recipient defers or withdraws from the course, after the start of the first session, the award will be terminated and any tuition fee payment already made will be reversed.
The offer is made subject to information provided by the applicant.

Proceso de selección

MBA (C04018) applicants only: Academic merit in the most recently completed tertiary qualification recognised by UTS or the GMAT exam.

Applicants for all other coursework programs (other than MBA): Academic merit in the most recently completed tertiary qualification recognised by UTS for entry into the selected UTS Master degree by coursework program.

International students who wish to pursue higher education in Australia at UTS are eligible for the scholarship. UTS Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship applies to all PG programs available at UTS.

No separate application is required, students will be automatically evaluated.

Terms and Conditions regarding Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship:

Applicants must meet the UTS’s Academic progression policy.
If the applicant obtains Permanent Residency status, the award will be terminated and the payment which is already made will be reversed.
The Scholarship is a one-time award

Recipients must adhere to the university's rules, policies and procedures. The applicants are responsible for any changes in circumstances that would make them ineligible for continuation of the Scholarship
