Edinburgh MBA Leadership Scholarships

Five students starting full-time MBA and Executive MBA program at the University of Edinburgh Business School are offered £10,000 under Edinburgh MBA Leadership Scholarship. The program is designed to support students with leadership experience and potential.

Preference is given to the applicants with work experience of minimum seven years.
Scholarship amount must be used towards the recipient’s Edinburgh Business School tuition cost
Application process for the Edinburgh MBA Leadership Scholarship 2023 will commence in March 2023.
An applicant after winning the scholarship, if declines it, then it will not be reinstated for that applicant at a later date.
There are multiple deadlines.

The applications for Edinburgh MBA Leadership Scholarships are submitted on a rolling basis. However, applicants are advised to file their application immediately after seeking admission to their chosen Edinburgh MBA program.

Criterio de elegibilidad

The Edinburgh MBA Leadership Scholarship is applicable to the students enrolled in the university’s full-time MBA or executive MBA program.

Along with that, applicants must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

Demonstration of leadership experience potential
At least 7 years of relevant work experience
An unconditional offer of admission to Edinburgh Business School

Applicants are NOT eligible for the Edinburgh MBA Leadership Scholarship if

Their education is fully sponsored by the employer
They are in receipt of a full scholarship like the Chevening Scholarship, Commonwealth Scholarship.
They have already accepted another scholarship from the University of Edinburgh Business School.

Foremostly, it is mandatory for applicants to receive admission offer to the eligible programs at the Edinburgh MBA Leadership Scholarships.

After that, applicants are required to complete an online application form. As a part of the Edinburgh MBA Leadership Scholarships, applicants will be required to:

identify the MBA program they have applied for
Provide unique username (UUN), received as part of the admission application
Submit the supporting statements, outlining academic qualifications, work experience, and objectives.

The Edinburgh MBA Leadership Scholarship applications are received on a rolling basis, hence the applicants are advised to fill the forms as soon as possible to get the advantage of the system.

Proceso de selección

The Selection for the Edinburgh MBA Leadership Scholarship is based on academic merit. The Scholarship Committee decides for the winner.

Furthermore, leadership skills and the potential of applicants also plays a significant role. The committee after finalizing the winner informs and gives a specified time to accept the offer.

NOTE :

Once the applicant accepts the offer the amount of the ward is credited to his/her fees account as the course begins for full-time MBAs.
Successful applicants enrolled on the Executive MBA will receive half the amount of the scholarship awarded in each of the two years of the programme.
If you receive a scholarship, you will be expected to participate occasionally as an ambassador for the Business School during and after your programme.
If you do not accept and pay the required MBA programme deposit within the given timeframe then you will forfeit your scholarship offer. The Business School will then re-allocate this scholarship

Detalles de la subvención

Edinburgh Business School offers scholarships of £10,000 each to students who have secured admission in a Full-time MBA or Executive MBA at the institution.

The grant/scholarships are for tuition fees only and are directly deducted from the tuition fees of the five winners.
- Full-time MBAs get the award in one go whereas the Executive MBAs receive the same in two yearly installments.
The university expects the winners to participate in the promotional activities for the institution as well as for the scholarship.

The scholarships are meant for encouraging the leaders in business. Those who are able to showcase unmatched leadership strengths during their work experience years are more likely to receive the awards.

Terms and Conditions

The applications must be submitted within the deadline and should be complete in every respect to avoid rejection.
The scholarship recipient has to accept the award in writing within a given period of the announcement of the scholarship.
- If the winner chooses to maintain silence, it will be reassigned to another candidate and will not be restored back.
The university reserves the right to withdraw the award if any student has given false information to obtain the award OR
If any students fail to abide by the norms set by the institution to avail the award.
The scholarship also is to be availed from the year it is awarded and will not be deferred to a later date.
