Fitzwilliam Master Studentship

Fitzwilliam Masters Studentship is a fully-funded international studentship awarded by Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge. The studentship is applicable for a one-year full-time master’s degree course at the University of Cambridge.

This studentship is available to international students from all nationalities.
It provides financial support for a full-time master’s degree course for a tenure of one year.
This is fully funded studentship covering:
- Tuition fees at the appropriate rate.
- Expenses of living in UK.
- Full maintenance allowance.

Criterio de elegibilidad

Students of all nationalities are eligible to apply for the Fitzwilliam Masters Studentship. However, there are a few requirements which they need to fulfill:

Must name Fitzwilliam College as their first choice in the college application form.
- OR must be allocated via 2nd choice or random allocation.
Must have a conditional offer from the university for a place on the course by March 15.
Must have College membership with Fitzwilliam College by March 15.
Starting their course of study in the Michaelmas Term (September/October).
All full-time and part time Masters courses starting Michaelmas Term are eligible, with the exception of MRes, MBA, MFin and PGCE.

Note: It is recommended that the University Application form must be submitted prior to the Funding Deadline for the course (i.e., December 3). Applicants must remember that it is not possible to transfer Colleges in order to be eligible for this Studentship.

Proceso de solicitud

Fitzwilliam Masters Studentship is a one-time fully funded studentship offered to meritorious incoming students. The scholarship application will be complete only after uploading a PDF copy of the University application form.

- Personal Information of the applicant.
- Details of the course of study.
Previous Study & Future Financial Support:
- Details of all previous university degree courses.
- Details of any financial support secured or applied for.
Personal Statements:
- Statement of motivation for applying for the course of study.
- A statement containing future plans and career aspirations.
- Academic Letter of Reference.

All those eligible by the closing date will be automatically considered - no application form required. Interviews are held as part of the Masters Studentship competition. Results available May.

Proceso de selección

Fitzwilliam Masters Studentship is based on the academic merit of the applicants. The applicants must first complete the studentship application form and upload a PDF file of the same before the deadline (March 06, 2023).

Final results will be made available by the end of May.

As specified, funding will cover University tuition fees, plus a stipend to cover the full costs of maintenance. This scholarship needs a separate external application that the applicant has to submit through the Fitzwilliam College website.
