Monash International Leadership Scholarship

Monash International Leadership Scholarship is available for the students enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate course (full-time) at Monash University. This scholarship is available to eligible international students who complete their admissions at Monash University.

Total scholarship value equal to 100% course fees paid is awarded
A total of four scholarships are available
Students who enroll in the following programs are not eligible for the scholarship
- Bachelor of Medical Science
- Doctor of Medicine
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Students in Monash Pathway programs (e.g. Monash College and Monash University Foundation Year).
- Students transferring from another Monash campus or applying to Monash from another Australian University.
- Students studying Australian Year 12. You may be eligible for the Monash International Scholarship for Excellence.
A separate scholarship application is required.

The selection criteria for the Monash International Leadership Scholarship is based on academic skills, academic research training, and performance of the candidate.

Criterio de elegibilidad

Monash International Leadership Scholarship is available to the international students pursuing a UG and PG course at Monash University. The applicant must meet the following

An international student
Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree
Has got a full Monash course offer.
Not a recipient of any other scholarships, grants or financial incentives from the Monash University or other bodies /institutions

Students studying the following programs are NOT ELIGIBLE for the Monash International Leadership Scholarship:

Australian Year 12
Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine or Monash Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Monash Pathway programs.

Also, students transferring from another Monash campus or other Australian University are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Proceso de solicitud

To be eligible for the scholarship, international students must apply for an eligible course at the university. The application process to apply for a Monash International Leadership Scholarship requires a student to complete a separate scholarship application.

The step-by-step process to apply for a Monash International Leadership Scholarship is:

Select the course and check its eligibility for Monash International Leadership Scholarship
Submit the separate application form along with the application statement (500 words)
Mail the completed scholarship form at Monash University.
Do NOT submit supporting documentation with the scholarship application as they will not be considered.

Applicants must make sure that they submit the completed form before the deadline.

Monash International Leadership Scholarship is available to UG international students who complete their admissions at Monash University, Australia and meet the eligibility requirements. So anyone and everyone meeting the eligibility criteria can apply for the scholarship.

Student’s potential to be an ambassador of Monash University.

To retain the Monash International Leadership Scholarship, the applicant’s must:

Maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 each semester.
Take part in at least three Marketing and/or Scholarship promotional activities.
These activities include attendance at official scholarship functions and involvement in various marketing activities and networking events.

The selection round and closing dates are:

Detalles de la subvención

Recipient international students at Monash University will get funding that covers 100% of course fees while their studies in Australia. Selected students will be invited to apply for a place in the university’s leadership program for first-years called Monash Minds.

International applicants:

Applying directly at Monash or through an agent will also be considered for merit scholarships.
Need to submit a separate application form

In case the students have previously applied for this scholarship, then they can’t apply again for the same intake.

Benefits

Below mentioned are the benefits offered in the Monash International Leadership Scholarship:

100% course fees paid till the minimum number of points for recipient’s degree are completed (excludes OSHC, accommodation and living costs).
The shortlisted UG students will be asked to apply for a place in Monash Minds, a leadership program introduced for the first-year students.
Recipients will also be asked to take part or be profiled in relevant Monash marketing, recruitment and promotional materials and/or events.

Monash International Leadership Scholarship is one of the international scholarship options in Australia offered by Monash University.
