FU International Excellence Scholarship

FU International Excellence Scholarship is offered to the international students applying for UG and PG programs at Federation University. The award amount of FU International Excellence Scholarship is the equivalent of 16% of the total tuition fees of the UG and PG programs.

To be eligible for the scholarship:
- For UG programs: Must have secured 60% in senior high school.
- For PG programs: Must have passed with ‘Credit’ in bachelor degree study
The eligible degree programs for the scholarship are:
- Delivered on the campus of the university and registered on CRICOS.
The scholarship does not require a separate application.
It is non-transferrable and cannot be deferred.

The scholarship is not available for students studying at Federation University Partner Provider teaching location.

Criterio de elegibilidad

All the international applicants applying for UG and PG courses at Federation University are eligible for FU International Excellence Scholarship. Apart from that, applicants must fulfill the eligibility requirements listed below:

Must be eligible to study in Australia with a student visa.
Must provide proof of Proficiency in the English language.
- Academic IELTS overall 5.5
For UG programs: Must have secured 60% in senior high school.
For PG programs: Must have passed with ‘Credit’ in bachelor degree study
Must enroll for a program at a higher level than their existing qualification.
Must not accept any other scholarship or bursary at the university.

Proceso de solicitud

FU International Excellence Scholarship by Federation University does not require a separate application. The prospective international students are automatically assessed for a scholarship when they apply for the eligible on-campus program at Federation University Australia.

The applicants must accept the offer for scholarships within four weeks of receiving the offer. In case of a conditional offer, the offer must be accepted after meeting the required conditions

Proceso de selección

The International Excellence Scholarship by Federation University Australia is a merit-based scholarship.

The students are required to meet the academic performance requirements as per their chosen degree course.

However, the selection of successful applicants is competitive due to limited no. of awards. Hence, scores above the minimum requirements may be needed in order to successfully qualify for the scholarship.

International students who wish to study higher education in Australia at Federation University are eligible for the scholarship.

FU International Excellence Scholarship applies to all UG and PG programs at Federation University. No application needed, students will be automatically considered.

Recipients of the scholarship will receive a 16% reduction in their tuition fees for the course. The payment will be made in two installments per year. 100% of the payment is made in case the applicants complete 60 credit points in a semester.

In cases of less than 60 credit points, payments are adjusted on a pro-rata basis.

Terms and conditions regarding Scholarship are given below:

Recipients must not be in receipt of credit transfers or exemptions.
They must maintain a full study load which will enable them to complete the degree program within the duration listed on the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
Must secure an average grade of Pass in each progress review of the degree and should not fail any courses of study.
Required to pay the due fees in advance listed in the International Student Offer and Acceptance Agreement.

The students who are awarded the scholarship are expected to maintain a behavior that will uphold the positive reputation of the University.

Any decision by the University regarding scholarship is considered as final and no appeals are entertained.
