Chuan Ai Lu Engstrom Memorial Scholarship

The Chuan Ai Lu Engstrom Memorial Scholarship is offered by PCB Solutions in memory of its former employee, Chuan Ai Lu Engstrom, who died in 2014. The award was started by her husband, Greg Engstrom.

Students pursuing UG and PG programs at recognized U.S Universities are eligible to apply. To apply for the scholarship, applicants have to submit an essay on the topic given by PCB solutions.

Students coming from a diverse background irrespective of their nationalities who wish to study abroad are eligible to apply.

To obtain Chuan Ai Lu Engstrom Memorial Scholarship, applicants must meet Eligibility Criteria listed below :

An applicant pursuing a full-time UG or PG program at Universities of the U.S.
Must have to maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
No age requirement for the scholarship.

To secure the Chuan Ai Lu Engstrom Memorial Scholarship, applicants have to submit an essay.

An original essay must be written on the topic ‘Discuss your vision of Electronic Design, Engineering and Manufacturing in the Global Economy.’
- It should describe in detail the experience in manufacturing, logistics, electrical or mechanical engineering or any business ideas that would be helpful for their vision.
- The best essays are often treated as a reference for publications.
- It should bring entrepreneurial ideas about successful business and starting their own business, proving in detail how the management guidelines will be beneficial for their companies.
- The topic is broad and can include different aspects like healthcare, business, science, engineering, etc.
Applicants also need to include a short bio video or a short written document.
- Students are encouraged to discuss why education is important to them and what they will do with the scholarship if rewarded.

Scholarship Application

Applicant have to mail the essay via word doc or pdf to cameron@pcb-solutions.com
Along with the essay, applicants have to attach the Content Contribution Agreement along with their contact, major, graduation date.

Proceso de selección

The students having a cumulative GPA lower than 2.5 will be automatically dropped from the selection process.

Essays will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee of PCB Solutions. It may take at least 15 days for the selection process to be completed.

The recipient of the Chuan Ai Lu Engstrom Memorial Scholarship will be notified via email.

Once awarded, a check will be deposited to the recipient’s enrolled university and credited for academic costs.

This scholarship is awarded to students based on merit. An allowance of 1000 USD is offered by the PCB solutions to the student which can only be used for educational expenses.

It is applicable for both the Bachelors’s and the Master's degrees. The scholarship is awarded one-time only and is non-renewable.

The student is chosen on the basis of an essay that he/she has submitted for the Chuan Ai Lu Engstrom Memorial Scholarship.
