my learning experience about University of Toronto.

NY
8.3 /10

The main factor that made me choose UofT was because I like Toronto very much. It's a great city that is very culturally diverse. UofT is also downtown which makes it so interesting as there are always so many events even off-campus.

Course Curriculum :

The course curriculum and academics are nice. They are up to date and many classes try to talk about global issues that can benefit us, students.

Exams :

I had to submit my CV and school grades. I didn't have to submit any letters of reference nor a statement of purpose. Yes, I had one interview but no tests. For the interview, I prepared in advance and thought of questions the admissions officer may ask me. I spoke about my interests and why I was keen on studying Life Sciences.

Placement :

I'm not sure but I have heard from older students that students from UofT usually get good jobs in big firms and companies.

Internship :

No, I haven't but I hope to get an internship next year.

Events :

The infrastructure at UofT is very modern. Libraries are spacious and there is a good WiFi connection. There are many events and clubs on the campus that students can join especially international students. For example, there is a specific Chinese club and an Indian Student. A union so these students can feel at home.

Fees :

8000

Scholarship :

No

Faculty :

The faculty is alright. The faculty to student ratio is 1:000 in the first two years which isn't that great since it is hard to have a personal connection with professors. But I believe in upper years class sizes reduce to around 300-500.

Hostel :

No, I live at home with my parents as they moved to Toronto when I moved for my undergraduate studies.
