I really enjoy Toronto and centennial college has really high success rates and overall has a great environment to practice my studies in. The location and vibes are perfect. the location of my campus is especially good because it's not in the heart of Toronto, but I have quick access to it I want to go.
Course Curriculum :
I believe that the curriculum I am being taught in my class courses and in my program are highly valuable and relate heavily to what I am expecting to experience when I continue my work and career in this field.
Exams :
We don't have any of those exams in Canada, you just take your regular high school exams at the end of the semester and that determines your eligibility for post-secondary education.
Placement :
There are great placements and job opportunities for individuals that attend centennial college. There are an entire organization and system within the centennial college that works toward providing opportunities for students to find their best match.
Internship :
My school, centennial college, does offer internships in the form of field placements. So far I have not had the opportunity to participate in them and gain experience because it is not in my program route until the third semester, and I am just finishing my second semester.
Events :
Due to centennial college having a relatively high international student rate, there are many events that are celebrated that explore the many cultures that we have from all over the world on each of our campuses.
Fees :
The fee structure for my program (developmental services worker program) at centennial college was pretty simple and relatively inexpensive. For 2 semesters my total tuition came out to approximately $3000, not including any money that goes towards resources such as textbooks.
Scholarship :
I am not eligible for any financial aids in my province due to the level of my parent's income. I also did not choose to apply to any scholarships associated with or without centennial college.
Examination Structure :
The exam structure for most of the courses I am taking at centennial college is pretty standard and follows the traditional classroom setting for testing. However, some of my classes are a hybrid between traditional and online, so some of our exams are online too.
Faculty :
The faculty at centennial college has always been of great use to everyone who attends the college and as well as to others in the community. They provide a safe and good environment to learn in.
Hostel :
I did not live in the Centennial College residential area, so I rent an apartment relatively near my centennial college campus. I found my apartment through the smartphone app, Airbnb. I found this cheaper.
