University of southern Queensland -Review and more

V
8.8 /10

I chose this university because of the proximity to my parents (same town), because it was cheaper than other schools, and because it has the highest graduate employment rate in the state. Also, the program I enrolled in looked awesome. And it is.

Course Curriculum :

The current course curriculum is very good as it is highly varied and broad, with sections of specialization. For example, in anthropology, each subject covers a broad topic, such as the study or religions and beliefs, and within that, there are specific case studies.

Exams :

QCS in high school. I have completed over 30 university exams, and my lowest grade has been 65%, my highest 100%, and my average at around 80%.

Fees :

The fees range from around $800 AUD to around $1000 AUD per subject. This seems slightly cheaper than other universities. There is also a student amenities fee that goes towards extracurricular activities, at around $135 per semester, which is compulsory.

Examination Structure :

The exam structure is good because for my anthropology and archaeology exams I normally get a range of questions from which I choose x number of to answer. My science exams are good too because you normally get the majority of the formulas needed to be given to you.

Faculty :

The faculty of my university are great because they actually care about how I am going with my courses, and are easy to talk to if I have any issues.
